Scholarship Program for Arts
The Arts and Music Scholarship, helps underserved youth and adults across Minnesota participate in arts and music education. This scholarship removes financial and access barriers so you can focus on learning, creating, and growing as an artist.
This program can support participation in:
- Music classes – including singing, band, and orchestral instruments
- Creative writing and storytelling programs
- Studio arts – ceramics, woodworking, painting, textiles, fiber arts
- Traditional craft and folk arts
- Performing arts – dance, theater, movement arts, and more
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist, this scholarship helps you take your next step. Our goal is to support creativity, career exploration, and cultural learning across Minnesota. Scholarships may include:
- Tuition or Class Fees – Financial assistance for arts classes or workshops anywhere in Minnesota.
- Transportation Support – Help getting to and from classes so distance is never a barrier.
- Studio Access – Use of creative spaces and materials to practice and create your work.
- Application Assistance – Support with paperwork, interpretation, and communication needs.
