A community photo exhibition sharing real stories, real people, and everyday moments.
ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Lotus Arts Center invites residents of Eagan and the surrounding Dakota County region to participate in a community-driven photo exhibition celebrating everyday life.
We are looking for photographs that capture meaningful, ordinary, or unexpected moments in our community — moments that tell a story.
The goal is to present a fuller, more honest picture of the lives of Dakota County residents in the Twin Cities and to create opportunities for conversation across communities. We want to showcase how our community comes together.
"From all submitted entries, the best 12 photos will be selected for our community exhibit, with a $150 first-place prize and $75 second-place prize awarded to the top two standouts."
Each submission must include:
- One original photograph with a connection to Dakota County/Eagan area
- A written blurb or story (50–150words) explaining the connection between the image and the photographer.
Selected works will be displayed publicly at:
Annual Fundraising Event, Lost Spur Golf and Event Center, Nov 19, 2026 – Eagan, Minnesota
The program is funded under New Art Works Legacy Fund, by Eagan Community Foundation, Eagan.
