About Lotus Arts Center & Our Work

Our mission is to celebrate and teach South Asian arts, connect communities through creativity, and empower artists to thrive both personally and professionally.

South Asian arts carry rich cultural traditions that are often underrepresented in mainstream arts programming. We preserve these traditions while making them accessible and engaging for all communities.

Our programs benefit artists, youth, families, and the broader community. Artists gain skills, exposure, and mentorship, while participants enjoy hands-on learning and cultural experiences.

We provide mentorship, professional development workshops, marketing guidance, and opportunities to showcase and sell their work—helping artists turn creativity into a sustainable practice.

We host festivals, exhibitions, hands-on workshops, and cultural celebrations, where people of all ages can engage with South Asian art, storytelling, music, and traditions.

By welcoming people from all backgrounds to participate in our workshops and events, we create spaces where cultural knowledge is shared, celebrated, and experienced firsthand.
